Welding cable selection

Some of the different types of cable available include:

• Control box to wire drive cable. It is a #1 cable with lugs and 14-pin MS-type connectors. This cables are rated for 300 amps 60 per cent duty cycle.
• STT sense lead kits are that enable accurate monitoring of voltage at the arc.
• Heavy duty, high flex control cable for use with robots and booms.
• Interface control cable with 22-pin connectors. This cable is used to parallel multiple Power Wave power sources.

Product features

The welding cable we supply offers a number of beneficial features. For example, Arclink/Linc-Net control cable is available. These versatile cables can be used in bench systems between the power source and wire feeder, or in boom systems between the power source, control box and wire drive. They offer length flexibility as they can be connected end-to-end, up to a maximum length of 200 feet between any two components. This capability eliminates the need for a custom length cable. It also enables more flexibility in placement of components.  These cables are available in heavy duty varieties and lengths of 8, 25, 50, and 100 feet.
