We provide a selection of waste water samplers for measuring the concentration of oil in water. Our products use fluorescence or light scatter technology to monitor oil levels. They include on-line models for continuous monitoring, and transportable benchtop units for discrete sample measurements. They provide reliable output of oil concentrations in ppm. Waste water samplers

Our models range from our HydroSense 2410 which utilizes a sensing chamber that provides a continuous water sample, to our FluroCheck II portable benchtop unit that uses direct water samples. The displays, signal outputs, and alarms on our water monitors are configurable to measure concentrations of hydrocarbons within a ppm range from 0 to 1000. Accessories including pumps, sample coolers, and air pressurization/purging systems are available.

The fluorescence method of measuring oil concentrations involves directing filtered light energy at the sample. Any oil present in the water will fluoresce light energy back at a specific wavelength. Measuring the intensity of light at the signature wavelength provides an accurate reading of oil concentration.

Our samplers feature low maintenance, long life UV lamps, and no use of chemicals or consumables. They are used to measure oil in wastewater, produced water and cooling water systems. In addition, we can offer sensors for measuring oil that has separated to the water surface.
