Our product portfolio at ODE Valve Canada consists of more than valves, pumps, and gear motors. We also carry wireless electronic solutions for liquid control: our +SMART series of valve control systems. These are designed to facilitate cabling and operation in virtually all applications involving ODE solenoid valves, and they are compatible with Ethernet and fieldbus environments. Each has a PLC and Wi-Fi system integrated into it and acts as a control system for small machines or complex sub-systems.

With these wireless control solutions, users can program valve applications to suit their exact needs. Among the many user benefits of the +SMART line: it is Industry 4.0-ready, as flexible and economic automation solutions that enable maximum use of technological developments in wide application areas; it complies with the standard IEC 61131-3, supported by real-time designed control and Ethernet-based synchronous fieldbus systems in conjunction with ODE engineering; and it supports the standardized protocol MQTT for communication with common cloud systems.

ODE offers the following three +SMART valve control systems:

• +SMART ONE. This system enables development of any application in a simple and intuitive way, in addition to control, monitoring, and wireless operation of the applied solenoid valves. Primary features include the integration of a PLC with the Wi-Fi system, through which the user can manage a control terminal block for digital inputs and outputs.
• +SMART CUBE. The intelligent control choice for the demands of the market, from primary and secondary to end-of-line solutions. Real-time communication is the standard with an integrated Ethernet bus with expandable I/O that allows flexibility when changes to machinery requirements are needed. The scalable CPU allows upgrading and downgrading of performances and is adaptable precisely to the respective application.
• +SMART COMPACT. These valve control systems can easily be housed in sensors or other small devices. With its powerful CPU, each can process signals from external devices adding other information to the measurement. All of the data that the device processes can be sent by Wi-Fi connectivity to a cloud platform
