Vacuum heat treating

We have a number of state-of-the-art furnaces we use to perform vacuum heat treating. The maximum load capacities for our furnaces range up to 5000 pounds, and they can treat parts up to 84 inches in length.  We have a high pressure vacuum hardening furnace that has a 6 bar capacity, large vacuum hardening furnaces, and a vacuum oil quench furnace. The benefits of utilizing a vacuum furnace are that they provide uniform results because they create a wind flow pattern to heat and cool parts evenly. The vacuum environment also reduces the time it takes for the furnace to heat up, which results in faster turnaround times. Our process results in parts with bright, shiny finishes because oxidation won’t occur in a vacuum furnace.

Other services we perform include carburizing, TD vanadium carbide coating, solution annealing, stress relieving and more.

Vacuum heat treatment industries

Our heat treated parts are used in a wide range of industries including automotive, tool and die, and extrusion.  We have experience serving a range of clients who need their parts to be strong and long-lasting for a variety of heavy duty applications.
