U V Curing Adhesives


A wide range of UV curing adhesives is available from Henkel Canada Corporation. These adhesives offer high transparency and are used in a wide variety of applications in the optical industry, medical technology, and the production of glassware, glass furniture, acrylic glass. Our Loctite brand UV cure adhesives also provide exceptional stability even in environments with high humidity and sunlight. For curing these adhesives, we can supply a variety of equipment including LED spot light sources and flood array systems. UV curing adhesives

In addition to their excellent transparency and stability, UV cure adhesives offer rapid curing.  For example, Our Loctite Indigo product line is designed to cure within seconds when exposed to the visible light spectrum. These adhesives are designed to handle select coloured substrates, such as tinted thermoplastic components. They are used for applications including high-end sunglasses, fibre optic components, and medical devices such as prefilled drug syringes.  

Another of our UV cure product lines is Loctite Flashcure. These light cure instant adhesives were designed for applications that demand rapid fixturing, fillet cure, or surface cure.  It is used in OEM assembly applications, disposable medical devices, and more.

Nuva-Sil is a line of silicone light cure adhesives and sealants. Theses one-part silicones can cure tack-free within seconds of being exposed to either UV light or high-power visible light. When cured, these silicone adhesives form soft, translucent elastomers that are non-yellowing. They feature excellent resistance to weather, temperature, moisture and corrosion. They are ideal for lead termination, seam sealing, glass bonding, and many more applications.
