Thread Sealants

Henkel Canada Corporation can provide a wide selection of thread sealants that instantly create a durable seal on pipe joints. Our products prevent leaks and corrosion, and they will not shrink or break down over time, unlike pipe dopes and tapes. We are a global leader in adhesive technologies, and we are behind universally trusted brands such as Loctite. Our products are used throughout many industrial, professional and consumer markets. Henkel has approximately 47,000 employees worldwide, and we have the experience and portfolio to provide the best products for every application.

Thread sealants

Our thread sealants prevent pipe joints from leaking liquids and gasses regardless of vibration, pressure changes or temperature changes. These sealants are anaerobic compounds that remain liquid while exposed to air, and cure when confined between close fitting metal components. Our Loctite thread sealants offer many advantages when compared to traditional products:

  • Easy and quick to apply because they consist of a single component.
  • Will not creep, shrink or block your systems.
  • Resistant to shock and vibration.
  • Protects against corrosion and galling.
  • Forms seals that can withstand pressures up to most piping systems’ burst strength.
