Thread locking adhesives available from Henkel Canada Corporation are capable of locking and sealing threaded assemblies. They will prevent loosening due to vibration or shock and seal the assembly against fluids and corrosion. We can provide Loctite brand threadlockers in a range of strengths and special formulations, including both permanent and removable types. Our company has been developing innovative solutions for over 140 years, and is now a global leader with a comprehensive selection. Our products are used around the world in markets as diverse as automotive, medical, and construction.
Threadlockers
Loctite threadlockers are anaerobic adhesives that completely fill the gaps between mating threads, and will cure at room temperature. They are single component adhesives made of unique liquid resins that cure when exposed to metal ions in the absence of air. In addition to reliable locking and sealing, Loctite threadlockers also assist with assembly by providing lubricity for controlled torque. These adhesives are easy to apply and will cure rapidly. They offer resistance to extreme temperatures and will work on both active metals (such as brass and copper) and passive metals (such as stainless steel and plated surfaces).
We offer many threadlocker varieties designed for industrial assembly, MRO, vehicle applications, and more. Some of the different specialty threadlockers available include:
