Thermocouple assemblies

Thermocouple assemblies are available in many varieties to suit a broad range of applications. Some of the different types available include tip-sensitive, high temperature, flameproof, and explosion-proof (FM, CSA, ATEX and CENELEC) models. Our assemblies are also available with special spring-loaded holders that guarantee proper probe contact in thermowells or blocks.

The different types of assemblies available include:

• Tip-sensitive thermocouples that offer fast and accurate readings, due to the copper alloy tip that quickly responds to temperature changes.
• High temperature thermocouples with thermowells for sensing temperatures in high-pressure gasses and fluids. They can be used for temperatures up to 550 degrees C (1022 degrees F). The thermowells are made from 316 stainless steel, and the connection head can be supplied in cast iron, aluminum, or stainless steel.
• Flameproof, increased safety, and intrinsic safety thermocouple assemblies that meet International IECEx and ATEX Directive 94/9/EC certification.
