Technopolymer Valves

We manufacture several models of industrial technopolymer valves at ODE Valve Canada. Our company has an advantage in having pioneered the use of technopolymer in producing solenoid valves – a response to market demand for plastic products with high-performance traits, even for difficult applications with extreme temperatures and mechanical stress. This valve line has been available for the last decade, as a result of our innovative spirit and technical research.

This unique valve family has components that offer performance superior than products made of metal do, as they comply with many strict technical and certification standards. We recommend these technopolymer valves for a broad variety of applications, such as coffee- and vending-machine water supply, water and wastewater treatment, juices and drinks, reverse osmosis, exhaust systems for sanitary fittings, refrigerator dispensers, and misting systems at low pressures for washing fruits and vegetables.

High-temperature resistance is a key advantage of ODE’s industrial technopolymer valves. This is accomplished by producing these valves with polyphenylenesulfide (PPS) that is 40 per cent glass-fibre-reinforced. One of the most important high-temperature thermoplastic polymers, PPS offers high-performance features in terms of heat transfer and chemical/mechanical resistance. Not only do these properties resist heat; they resist acids, alkalies, mildew, bleaches, aging, sunlight, and abrasion. Other key benefits of these valves include high chemical resistance, lightweight design, repeatability and precision, and top mechanical performance.

Our firm carries four models of industrial technopolymer valves. The AM series is designed to work with 2/2 NC, 2/2 NO, and 3/2 NC kits. Available seals for these units are the FKM, with a temperature range from minus ten to 140 degrees Celsius, and the NBR, going from minus ten to 90 degrees Celsius. The AP series serves as a natural extension to complete the solenoid product range with larger nominal sizes.

The JM series has various inlet/outlet connections, allowing users to connect different tube types. These valves are available in 2/2 NC, 2/2 NO, and 3/2 NC. Distinguished by an extremely compact size, the JP series is available with Push-In connections, which enable fast, safe pipe connections with no additional fittings necessary.
