Steel mill rolls

We have the capability to manufacture rolls up to 72′ in diameter and 420′ in length. The materials we regularly work with include steel, cast iron, bronze, and phenolic, among others. To ensure we maintain the high level of precision Gelderland Ltd is known for, all of our work is regularly measured and checked for accuracy. This is how we guarantee our products always meet our customers’ exacting specifications, down to the closest tolerances.

Our repair and reconditioning services include surface honing and polishing, dynamic and static balancing (for rolls up to 108′ dia. x 360′ long), and precision cylindrical grinding (max roll size 60 dia. x 420′ long). In addition to steel mill rolls, we also have experience manufacturing and maintaining rollers for aluminum mills, rubber mills, and many other applications.

Our company has been in business since 1963. We regularly work with rolls ranging from small to large. We perform our manufacturing services in a 40,000 sq. ft. building. Our facility was specifically designed to maximize workflow efficiency and house both our office and plant operation.

Our processes include milling, broaching, fabricating, welding, flame cutting, and surface grinding. In addition to steel mill rolls, we manufacture products such as printing rollers, gears (spur, worm, and helical), crankshafts, and special purpose machines.
