Sprockets

Since 1973, Tsubaki of Canada Ltd. has been manufacturing top-quality chains and sprockets, and today, we are the largest sprocket manufacturing facility in the country. Committed to ingenuity and dependability, our engineering and production teams work together to create products that last. Our chains and sprockets minimize your company’s downtime and maximize your productivity. We also offer technical support, prototype development, 3D modeling and rapid turnaround times. With a production plant in Mississauga and a warehouse in Edmonton, we’ll get your order to you quickly, no matter your location.

Sprocket Product Line

We manufacture a wide variety of sprockets from heat-treated carbon, all ready to withstand heavy shock loads and abrasion. We can add five value-added features to our engineering class sprockets: mud relief that allows debris to fall through the chain; split construction that allows sprocket installation without dismantling the shaft assembly; wear indicators to reveal the sprocket’s tooth life; lightening holes to reduce the sprocket’s weight, and special hardening and materials to add resilience to the sprocket.

Sprocket Industrial Applications

Customers in numerous industries use our sprockets and chains on the job. They work in the mining, manufacturing, automotive, food and beverage, and forestry industries, among others. Whether using our Lambda Self-Lubrication chain in a large sawmill or our NEP (new environmental plating) chain in a potato-cutting machine, customers waste less time and manufacture more products.

Sprocket Manufacturing Process and Customization Options

We are proud to work in an ISO 14001:2004, ISO 9001:2008 and API certified facility, and to manufacture products that conform to many other world standards such as ANSI and JIS. We offer custom-designed sprockets as well, made from top-grade carbon, alloy or stainless steel. We also offer anti-corrosion and anti-wear coatings. With CNC and CAD technologies, we provide customized solutions for almost every sprocket application, including special machined tooth profiles, heat treatment, and numerous finishes.
