Signal converters

We offer Mother Node communication signal converters. This signal converter product line offers a simple solution to allow practically any PC to communicate with half duplex RS-485 devices. These converters are easy to use and eliminate complicated hand shaking issues. They are available in three levels of sophistication. Mother Node Silver is a low cost converter with simple installation. It can convert signals at a rate of 19.2 KBaud. Alternatively, Mother Node Gold features optical isolation and an additional quick connect RS-485 output. Lastly, Mother Node Platinum features the ability to act as either a converter or a RS-485 repeater.

Also available is the Iso Verter II Isolator/Conveter. This device can completely isolate input and output signals from each other and the ground to protect electronic circuits. The input and output ranges are field selectable using easy-to-adjust switches. Nearly any standard input/output range is possible thanks to bipolar input selection and zero suppression.
