Power-Locks

Power-Locks offer a number features. These expertly engineered devices are adjustable, affordable, and can solve problems that are typical of other connection methods. Our locking devices use a shaft-to-hub friction connection. This system allows the transmission of high-torque and axial loads, and accommodates reversing and dynamic or shock loading.  Power-Locks are easy to attach with no need for machining or extra assembly. This ease of installation also ensures the hub can be positioned accurately and assists with angular timing of the hub.

Once a Power-Lock is installed, the pressure from mechanical interference expands it to fill the gap between the hub and shaft. This creates a friction bond that provides a zero backlash connection. Power-Locks can be supplied in a range of styles and both inch and Metric sizes.
