Self -lubricating roller chain is available from Tsubaki of Canada Ltd. The Tsubaki Lambda self-lubricating chain was first introduced in 1988, and since then we have continually developed our manufacturing technology and materials to improve its performance. As a result, there is no higher performing self-lubricating chain on the market. The Tsubaki name is recognized for reliable products. Our chain is used in a range of applications to maximize productivity and minimize downtime. In addition to chain, we can supply a variety of parts such as sprockets, bushings, power locks, and shock relays.
Self-lubricating roller chain
Lamda chain can last up to 14 times longer when compared to standard non-lubricated chain. Two keys to the long life of Lambda chain are the sintered metal oil impregnated bushing and the inner/outer plates are black oxide. This chain can be used in temperatures ranging from -10 degrees C to 150 degrees C.
Single strand Lambda chain uses heavy roller inner side plates and has an overall width slightly larger than standard chain. However, it will engage with standard single sprockets. Double pitch Lambda chain uses all heavy side plates, which avoids the need to add a third transverse pitch to the product line up. As a result, a heavy sprocket should be used with double strand Lambda.
