Sealants

Henkel Canada Corporation provides a variety of industrial sealants that are used to prevent passage of liquids and gasses. We develop our innovative sealants based on our analysis of real-world production processes, and our consultations with experts. Our efficient and clean-running sealants will increase your productivity and save you money. They feature fast fixture times and perform reliably in high pressure applications. We make many different varieties of sealants, so we can supply the perfect product for your operations. We often work with our customers to develop customized solutions.

Sealants

Some of the types of sealants we can offer include elastomeric, gasket, thread, polyacrylate, silicone, and urethane. Our silicone sealants offer high adhesion for substrates that are difficult to bond. Our elastomeric sealants are compatible with many different paint systems, and feature permanent flexibility, resistance to vibration, and the ability to seal dissimilar substrates. Our thread sealants feature quick application, prevention of leaks with complete contact between threads, and controlled strength to make disassembly easy. Our gasketing sealants provide a perfect, self-forming seal that will save up to 95 per cent of the material cost for hard gaskets, and offer more design flexibility. They will withstand the most demanding operating temperatures and pressures without cracking, shrinking or relaxing.

Sealant expertise

We have been in business since 1876. Since then, we have developed many innovative technologies that have made us a global leader in both industrial and consumer markets. We are behind many widely used brands ranging from Loctite adhesives to Dial soaps.

Sealant industries

Our products are used in many diverse industries including transportation, aerospace, maintenance and repair, electronics, durable goods, and packaging. Our silicone sealants are used in many different applications, especially in the automotive industry; our urethane sealants are used in construction applications including ductwork, window frames and expansion joints; and our elastomeric sealants are often used for applications with paint systems that are incompatible with silicone.
