The range of industrial solutions available through ODE Valve Canada is wide and comprehensive. We manufacture and supply not only standard pumps, valves, and gear motors, but also rotary vane pumps – specifically, the MOCAREEL pump. This brand represents a major innovation in our lineup, due to our use of PPS, carbon graphite, and stainless steel materials. The result is a rotary vane pump that offers high pressure and flow-rate performance in a variety of applications.

Recommended primarily for coffee machines, food processing, vending, and water treatment, the MOCAREEL has a PPS technopolymer body with similar features to those on metal bodies. This material ensures that the pump complies with specific food-grade certifications, like NSF and European Regulation No. 1935/2004 and NSF 169 for water. Other features include stainless steel connections, a pumping chamber and blades constructed out of graphite, and a shaft made out of steel. All of these materials contribute to this pump’s high wear resistance and strong food compatibility, particularly due to the absence of lubricants.

The standard MOCAREEL comes with both 3/8 GAS input and output connections, while 3/8 NPT output connectors are also available on request. These rotary vane pumps have a design, weight, and compact dimensions that make them simple to install in pumping systems and to use. Each pump is also equipped with a bypass valve that enables adjustment of the drain pressure by means of a regulation screw, which allows the liquid to re-enter at the inlet of the loop by acting on a calibrated spring.

ODE has designed the MOCAREEL to accommodate liquids as hot as 70 degrees Celsius. In addition to coffee, food, and water, we deem these rotary van pumps to be suitable for the chemical and medical sectors and for reverse osmosis systems. The MOCAREEL is also available for specific couplings with electric motors, with the assistance of a special built-in shaft and a 1¾-inch clamp.
