Roll Lifters

At Engineered Lifting Systems & Equipment Inc., we design and manufacture quality roll lifters, cranes, hoists, forklift attachments, accessories and other lifting devices. In addition to our standard series, we can produce custom carts, platforms, cranes, fixtures and other equipment. We also provide load testing and equipment certification, installation, and health and safety reviews. Our team members, from engineers and millwrights to customer service representatives and shipping staff, are the backbone of our company, and we’re very proud of their dedication and skill. From the first design to the first day in operation, we’re here to give you a “lift”!

We manufacture several models of horizontal roll lifters. They provide a quick and safe way to lift all sizes of rolls onto or off of unwinding spindles, or to transport them for packaging.

  • HRL 200P features integrated proble tooling, and assists operators in lifting rolls up to 200 lbs.
  • HRC 250 features cradle supports, and helps operators lift rolls up to 250 lbs.
  • HRL 1000C with cradle supports helps operators lift rolls up to 1000 lbs.

Roll Lifters Industrial Applications

Our customers work in a diverse range of industries, including the construction, manufacturing, automotive, pulp and paper, and steel market sectors.

Roll Lifters Manufacturing Process

When a customer orders custom equipment, the first step is to collect data from the site in question and chat with the client to determine their needs and expectation. Our engineers then consider how they can optimize cost, safety and durability, and submit a proposal to the customer. After a receipt of purchase, the engineers create a design using CAD. Once that is approved, our certified welders and licensed millwrights manufacture the machine in our shop. We will then install the equipment on site, and provide training upon request. All our products are designed to adhere to rigorous safety criteria, including those of the National Building Code of Canada, the Canadian Electrical Code, and the Steel Design Code.
