Resistance Temperature Directors Product Line

We manufacture three types of resistance temperature directors (RTDs), which measure temperature by determining the resistance of its inner metal––platinum, nickel or copper––at any given time. Platinum-based RTDs provide the most stable readings over the largest temperature range. Industrial platinum resistance thermometers (IPRTs) best withstand harsh industrial environments. Standard platinum resistance thermometers (SPRTs) use reference grade platinum wire with a larger diameter, are most often found in laboratories. Secondary standard platinum resistance thermometers are similar to SPRTs but are constructed from more cost-effective materials.
