Quartz
Quartz glass (a.k.a. fused silica) features higher purity than other glasses. The high purity of quartz glass offers exceptional resistance to heat, as it typically has a strain point of about 1070 C. Fused quartz also has high transparency, high resistance to irradiation, and very low thermal expansion, so it is able to handle rapid changes in temperature. The stock length of our quartz tubing is 1220 mm, but we are able to provide tubing of any length.
In addition to quartz glass, we can supply a wide variety of borosilicate 3.3 products. We have the industry’s largest selection of tubing and rod, in over 330 standard sizes. We are able to offer capillary and profile tubing, sight glass, process glass, lampworking supplies, and more.
