ODE Valve Canada offers a diverse range of valve products to suit many industrial applications. For example, we carry a variety of designs of proportional valves. These are electronically actuated valves for which the output value (flow or pressure) changes at the same ratio at which the inlet value does. Proportionally designed solenoid valves are necessary for actuation tasks, and common benefits include pressure relief, pressure reduction, and flow control.

Our proportional solutions come in many designs and varieties. Two key examples are the 21IA and 21IA-5 series of pneumatic, on-off, normally closed, 2/2-way angle seat valves. Both series are ideal for industrial automation, steam, and water applications, and both are constructed out of 316 stainless steel. The 21IA series is capable of flows of 70, 130, or 150 litres per minute (l/min), while the 21IA-5 series can do flows of 70, 110, and 130 l/min.

Another key member of this ODE family is a motorized proportional diverting valve, recommended for thermoregulation moulding processes. The stepper motor valve technology aims to control process variables or parameters in two different ways, by means of Open or Closed Loop. Actuation by stepper motor allows the valve to reduce hysteresis effects and to improve response times and repeatability through the time of the performance. Managed by a driver unit that enables precise, fast control, this valve achieves a flow of 50 l/min.

The JN series of proportional valves is perfect for medical, dosing, and fertilization applications. This unit also has a stepper motor, acting for gases and fluids and suitable for many working pressures and temperatures. Other benefits include low hysteresis effects, high accuracy, and a faster, more accurate control of liquid than that of a standard proportional solenoid valve.

The 21A2KC series is designed for a fluid output proportional to voltage change. There is no minimum operational pressure required for these proportional vales, which can be mounted in any position. The materials used and tests conducted ensure reliability and a long lifespan.
