We conduct product testing services that determine whether your product lives up to industry standards. Testing is an important part of the manufacturing process. Not only can it show whether your products are qualified for sale, it allows vendors and other distributors to recognize this quality. At CSA Group, we test products against international standards, measuring traits like energy efficiency, sanitation and more. Our tests evaluate many different industries and criteria, so no matter what your business entails, we have testing methods that can help your products receive the identification they deserve.
Types of testing available
We test products against industry standards, including those written by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI), NSF International and our own agency. We conduct testing alongside our certification and field programs. For model certification, our staff will record your results within a CSA Group facility. Witness testing offers the ability to conduct your own tests in your facility with one of our representatives present, while supervised and category certifications are carried out either by your staff at your place of business or at a CSA centre. Field evaluation programs are carried out on product runs of under 500 pieces, with our staff conducting and checking results. However, these happen mostly at your place of work, with inspection at a CSA centre or installation location also possible.
