The compact design of EXAIR’s compressed air operated Line Vac features large throat diameters for maximum throughput capability. They connect to standard hose or tube to create a powerful in-line conveyor. Eleven sizes in aluminum and ten in stainless steel are suited to a wide variety of applications. Heavy Duty models are made from a proprietary hardened alloy to move more material over longer distances and resist abrasion from the roughest of conveyance materials. Line Vacs are ideal for moving large volumes of dry bulk material over long distances. These CE compliant Line Vacs are made from aluminum, 303 Stainless steel or 316 stainless steel. They are available with smooth ends to connect to standard size hose or tube and threaded ends to be used with standard pipe thread sizes. Smooth end sizes for hose and tube start at 3/8″ and go up to 5″. Threaded sizes start at 3/8 NPT and go up to 3 NPT.
Our newest addition is the Sanitary Flange Line Vac. It is the best way to convey materials in systems which require frequent or mandatory cleaning. Sanitary Flange fits within your current sanitary flange piping system and converts it into a conveyor for waste, parts and bulk materials. The Type 316SS Sanitary Flange is available 4 sizes.
Standard Line Vacs typically solve problems for conveyance lengths of 40′ or less, while Heavy Duty models can move material 200′ or more. High temperature versions are available for environments up to 482°C (900°F). A small amount of compressed air is injected through directed nozzles to produce a vacuum on one end and high output flows on the other, with instantaneous response. One of our customers manufactures automobiles for consumer use. They need to convey a large quantity of small fibers through a 1.25″ ID hose, over a distance of 75 feet.  A Model 150125 1-1/4″ Heavy Duty Line Vac is just the right size to be easily installed with their current hose system and convey the material over the 75 foot distance.
