Pneumatic Air Conveyors

EXAIR compressed air operated Line Vac connects to standard hose or tube to create a powerful in-line conveyor. The compact design features large throat diameters for maximum throughput capability. Eleven sizes in aluminum and ten in stainless steel are suited to a wide variety of applications. Heavy Duty models are made from a proprietary hardened alloy to move more material over longer distances and resist abrasion from the roughest of conveyance materials. Line Vacs are ideal for moving large volumes of dry bulk material over long distances. They are a fast, low-cost way to convey, plastic pellets, scrap trim, textiles, paper, small parts, shavings or granules. Click here to determine which Line Vac is right for you.

A manufacturhttps://exair.co/103-lver of air filtration equipment uses a Model 6084 2″ (51mm) and Model 6086 3″ (76mm) Line Vac to pulse compressed air to the downstream side of a cylindrical air filter to periodically shake off debris. This saves compressed air and reduces the noise levels previously caused by the 1″ open pipe they used to use.

These CE compliant Line Vacs are made from aluminum, 303 Stainless steel or 316 stainless steel. They are available with smooth ends to connect to standard size hose or tube and threaded ends to be used with standard pipe thread sizes. Smooth end sizes for hose and tube start at 3/8″ and go up to 5″. Threaded sizes start at 3/8 NPT and go up to 2 NPT. Standard power Line Vacs typically solve problem for conveyance lengths of 40′ or less while Heavy Duty models can move material 200′ or more. High temperature versions are available for environments up to 482°C (900°F). A small amount of compressed air is injected through directed nozzles to produce a vacuum on one end and high output flows on the other, with instantaneous response.
