Plugs

An industry leader since our inception in 1982, Mocap designs and manufactures a comprehensive line of plugs, caps, grips and other plastic and rubber products. With factories in the United States, United Kingdom, Mexico and China, we are strategically located to best serve you. Our facilities are registered to ISO 9001:2015, and our products are RoHS-compliant. We offer short lead times, ranging from same day shipping for some products ordered online to 12-15 business days for custom-ordered rubber injection molded products. We can send you samples before you order, and our secondary manufacturing services include printing, punching, slicing, one-colour silk-screening, and assembly.

Plugs Product Line

We manufacture numerous models of plugs molded from polyethylene, vinyl, silicone rubber and more. They are all designed to protect fittings and threads from moisture, contamination and damage during production, shipping and storage.

  • Sheet metal hole plugs are available in flush and recessed models, and are molded from polyethylene. They snap in easily and provide a secure fit, as well as a sleek, attractive finish.
  • Horizontal ribs allow easy and secure installation of tube end plugs, which are available in round, square and rectangular models. They are also available in Mini-Paks, should you require a smaller order.
  • Made from durable and flexible polyethylene, plug caps are versatile products that can be used as plugs, caps or masking plugs or caps. They function well in temperatures up to 175 F, and are available in many sizes.

Plugs Industrial Applications

We are proud to serve clients working in a wide variety of industries, including the medical, automotive, appliance, electronics and HVAC markets.

Plugs Manufacturing Proces

We own and operate many manufacturing facilities around the world, and offer many plastic molding processes. Using vinyl dip molding, we can manufacture products up to 18” in diameter and 22” in length, and in a variety of colours, textures and degrees of hardness. With plastic injection molding, we can create products to demanding specifications. In rubber molding, we inject raw material into molds, and then apply heat and pressure. The rubber then hardens into the shape of the mold.
