Pinch Solenoid Valves

ODE Valve Canada offers a portfolio of industrial valves unlike any other in the country. Our lineup includes angle, pneumatic, proportional, self-actuated, and technopolymer valves and more. In addition to these popular products, we also carry two unique designs of pinch solenoid valves. Both of these valve types are ideal for coffee machines, chemicals, and medical applications. Both models are also constructed out of anodized aluminum.

Pinch solenoid valves typically operate by clamping down on a disposable tube inserted into its slow, which enables liquid-flow control with no direct contact. The system interfaces with one or several of these electronically controlled pinch valves to create a complex and exacting network that can actuate in as little as 80 milliseconds. Because the process is so sterile, it is ideal and highly recommended for medical applications, including intravenous systems, drug delivery, and dialysis machines.

Our 31Z series of pinch solenoid valves consists of three-way, direct-acting, bidirectional normally closed units with total separation. In addition to coffee machines, chemicals, and medical use, these ODE valves also work very well for food processing, steam, water treatment, and petrochemicals. Features include a port-connection size of nine by 6.4 millimetres, up to 36 kilograms of closing force and bidirectional flow control, and liquid remains untouched when flowed. Armature tubes are made of brass and stainless steel, while plungers and springs are built from different kinds of stainless steel. These valves work in ambient temperatures from minus ten to 40 degrees Celsius, have a switching time from 20 to 40 milliseconds, and comply with the IP65 protection class.

The other series, the 21Z line, has some features and specifications similar to the 31Z series, including the closing force, plunger and spring materials, plus temperature range, and switching time. These are two-way, direct-acting, bidirectional valves that can be normally open or closed. Several sizes of port connection are available, and the valves have welded armature tubes of brass and stainless steel.

Our company has been manufacturing and supplying solenoid valves around the world for six decades and counting. Contact us to find out more about our pinch valves.
