Open Channel Meters
We offer open channel meters for monitoring of channel flumes and weirs. They are capable of providing flow totalization, flow rate indication, flow and level alarms, a pulsed totalization alarm, and the display of trends over hourly, daily or monthly periods. Open channel meters
Our 4100-OCF open channel flow monitor includes a sensing probe and a control panel. The sensing probe utilizes a combination of capacitance technology and a primary flow device to enable continuous flow and level monitoring. Capacitance technology offers the benefit of no moving parts and eliminates the need for routine cleaning. Our sensing probes can operate in process temperatures ranging from -60C to 260C, and they feature an explosion proof head and stainless steel shielding.
Our control panels enable you to perform all of the calibration, power wiring, and control interface at the main control unit. The controller can be mounted safely away from the process, thanks to a pulse module circuit in the probe assembly. This allows the controller to be mounted up to 1 km away with practically no effect to signal stability. The control units feature corrosion and water-resistant housing and an optional beacon and buzzer.
