Our Super Chain series includes several types of drill rig chains: HT, Super, Super-H, and Ultra Super. These chains offer outstanding performance in environments that promote pitting corrosion such as outdoor and costal applications.

Drill rig chains

• HT Series chains use through hardened pins and link plates of the next largest chain size. They offer 15-30 per cent greater ultimate tensile strength when compared to ANSI standard roller chains.
• Super series chains have the same dimensions of standard roller chains but with special link plates and pitch holes that offer 25-30 per cent greater allowable load. They also have through hardened pins for shock load resistance.
• Super-H series chains have link plates that are the same thickness as on the next larger size of Super series chains as well as through hardened pins. When compared to the Super series, they offer greater ultimate tensile strength and allowable load.
• Ultra Super series has been proven in field tests to offer the greatest ultimate tensile strength and allowable load of any roller chain available. It has an allowable load that is 170 per cent of that of ANSI RS roller chain. That means Ultra Super chains can be sized two sizes smaller than the appropriate standard chain.
