Nibbler Tools

Dobco Equipment Ltd. can supply a range of nibbler tools. These tools are supplied by industry leading manufacturers such as Bosch and Trumpf. Nibbling is a cold process with no need for heat. When compared to thermal or other mechanical processes, nibbling offers the benefit of no dust, gas, or smoke emissions. In the nibbling process, a punch and die are used with a fast succession of strokes to nibble a cut into the sheet metal. The punching force is absorbed by the die holder, and the material punched falls out in chip form. They are robust and made from heavy-duty steel.

Nibbler tools

Bosch air nibblers provide distortion-free sheet metal cutting. They feature polyamide housings are light weight and provide operator comfort. Other key features include the powerful sleeve valve motor and the ability to expel waste air through the handle. The head unit and accessories for these pneumatic nibblers are identical to Bosch’s electric models.

Nibblers and profile nibblers are also available from Trumpf. The TruTool N and TruTool PN are designed for long tool life with consistent high quality cutting. These nibblers are ideal for C, L, and U profiles, and they are universally applicable for trapezoid, profile, corrugated or flat sheets.
