Mark-10 manufactures six models of motorized force testers among its testing and quality-assurance solutions, which are available through Hoskin Scientific Ltd. These testers include three designs with PC control, as well as two versions of advanced test frames. Highly configurable, these motorized force testers are recommended for a broad range of industrial applications in various industries and provide generous travel, clearance, and depth dimensions.

One example is the Mark-10 ESM1500 motorized force tester with PC control, a single-column unit for tension and compression measurement of up to 6.7 kilonewtons (kN). This device is suitable for laboratory and production environments and can be used with an indicator/load-cell combination or a force gauge, and the available FollowMe force-based positioning simplifies sample setup and fine positioning. The EMS 1500 is recommended for break testing, cycling, limit testing to a load or distance, load holding, elongation testing, tensile testing, and compression testing.

With similarities to the ESM1500, the ESM303 works for many of the same tasks, but is most appropriate for tension and compression measurement applications of up to 1½ kN. The ESM303H, also available from Hoskin, is a horizontal variation of the ESM303 with PC control and versatile configuration.

The F105/F305/F505/F505H family of advanced test frames are motorized force testers developed for tension and compressed-force testing applications with force capabilities as high as 2.2 kN. Options available include vertical and horizontal orientations, plus a selection of force-sensor capacities, grips, and fixtures. A similar option is the F755/F1505 series of advanced test frames, designed for tension and compression-force testing with force capacities up to 6.7 kN. Customers can set up tests and record/analyze data with IntelliMESUR software for both groups of test frames. One may also choose from a pre-configured tablet control panel or standalone software from any Windows device.

The ESM1500 and ESM750 single-column force testers offer capacities as high as 6.7 and 3.4 kN respectively. Users can satisfy different testing methods via an intuitive menu with selectable test parameters, including speed and amount of cycles.
