Mobile robots

The MiR100 represents the next generation of mobile robots that can provide rapid return on investment, with payback periods that are often less than one year. As opposed to an AGV, this robot works autonomously with no need for remote sensors, in-floor wiring, or structural changes to the facility. Instead, the MiR100 can identify its surroundings and driving area. Drawings of the building layout can also be imported to the robot.

The robot is easy to program using a PC, tablet, or smart phone. It also features easy maintenance and reduced downtime, as the MiR100 incorporates components that are readily available from SICK, Phoenix Contact, and Schneider Electric. The MiR100 can carry a payload up to 100 Kg, and it has a towing capacity up to 300 Kg. It has a loading area that is 600 mm by 800 mm, and it has a top speed of 1.5 m/s (5.4 km/hour).
