The breadth of valves, pumps, and similar products we carry at ODE Valve Canada is extremely diverse. One item that has recently become important is our line of microregulator valves – specifically, the Vesta MP Series INOX-OX model. This unique valve is particularly in demand in the medical industry, due to its usefulness in ventilators and oxygen equipment. The INOX-OX is a high-performance regulator that we have designed to handle pressure regulation of neutral gases.
The INOX-OX valve is sized from 1/8 to ¼ of an inch. It is best suited for use in ventilators, and also with medical oxygen when the user pairs it with 1/8-inch NPT and ¼-inch NPT connections. Among the other connections that are compatible with these microregulator valves for medical-oxygen applications are ¼-inch NPT and six-millimetre tube connections.
This valve has a two-way body with inlet and outlet ports only, which prevents leaks from unused connections. Other features and specifications for this ODE valve unit:
- ability to handle liquids, compressed air, oxygen or neutral gases.
- balanced valve.
- no relieving function.
- pressure range of 0-1, 0-2, 0-4, 0-8, or 0-12½ bar.
- maximum ambient temperature of 50 degrees Celsius at ten bar.
- maximum torque inserts at 1/8 of IN-OUT 29 N.m.
- air reference flow rate of 450 Nl per minute, at a pressure of 6.3 bar or Dp of one bar.
- weight of 100 grams.
Our microregulator valves are made up of various 316 stainless steel components. These include a diaphragm pin, valve spring, and inserts. The general valve body is also 316 stainless steel. The INOX-OX also has an O-ring plug and O-ring valve, both EPDM, and a diaphragm constructed from EPDM and nylon. There are also a sealing valve, regulator body, and plug. All components not made from stainless steel are certified for use in food processing as well as the medical field.
