Mechanical Felt

Choose from our selection of industrial felts in SAE grades F-1, F-3, F-5, F-7, F-10, F-11, F-13, F-15, F-26, F-50, F-51, and F-55. Our products are made with synthetic fibers and wool content ranging from 55% – 100%. Mechanical felt provides an unlimited possibility of uses for every industry. The following are common grades of S.A.E. felt and their typical uses:

• F-1 is ideal for bearing seals, polishing, ink rolls, and wick lubrication.
• F-5 is used for wipers, lubricators, and shock dampeners.
• F-11 is used in dryer drum seals, insoles and insulation, oil and mud shields, and impregnated packing.
• F-15 is ideal for grease and oil retention, protective liners, insulation for cars and trucks, and dunnage.
