MagSecur is a modular platform that is the basis for creating customized and proprietary magnetic locks that do not have the vulnerabilities of standard keyed locks.

MagSecur offers hundreds of thousands of locking combinations by using Neodymium magnets to drive multiple locking components inside locks and devices into unlocking configurations. Incorporated into our magnetic cam locks and padlocks, this technology is best suited for weatherproof and concealing applications.

Capitol integrates MagSecur technology into several magnetic locks. In our weatherproof padlocks, for example, MagSecur is used to move internal components from the outside of the lock, keeping the internal locking mechanism sealed from the environment, making them both pick-proof and tamper-proof too. The outsides of these locks have no moving parts, keyways, or other openings. Additionally, our invisible cabinet locks are customized products for applications that need discreet security and clean aesthetics, with no visible locks, keyways, electronics, programming, or batteries required.

We built a custom bicycle device lock to fit within defined small spaces, withstand harsh conditions, and resist device theft from bicycle handlebars. These are ingenious, customized locking mechanisms that work with devices seamlessly. MagSecur is also used in our weatherproof cam locks, which are also pick-proof and not susceptible to bumping, picking, or use of three-dimensional printing to create keys. Capitol magnetic cam locks retrofit into all cam-lock sizes.

Imbued into several of our magnetic locking solutions, MagSecur creates customized locking mechanisms designed specifically to overcome the disadvantages of traditional keyed locking methods. With no keyhole to access the internal mechanism, which is hermetically sealed to keep condensation out, this technology is ideal for systems that are safe from picking, freezing, seizure, and vandalism.
