We have a comprehensive selection that makes us the perfect source for all of your quantitative measurement equipment. Some of the available load cells include hydraulic, pneumatic, and strain gauge varieties, among many others. Our instrument specialists can provide personalized service to assist with load cell selection. They will assess your needs and help find a solution that meets your specific requirements. The products we supply are among the most dependable, accurate, and ruggedly designed instruments available.

Load cells

A load cell is a type of transducer for converting mechanical forces into measurable electrical signals. Stain gauge load cells are the most popular style, as they can offer the highest precision. They are used in a wide range of applications. Hydraulic load cells are filled with oil and use Pascal’s law to measure force (pressure exerted anywhere in a confined fluid is transmitted equally in all directions). These load cells are usually used for the weighing of bins, tanks, and hoppers. Pneumatic load cells work in a similar way, but are filled with compressed air. They are typically used to measure relatively low weights.

We also offer several other categories of load cells including beam type, dual range, load button, axial torsion, miniature, multi axis, piezoelectric, and strain transducers.

Load cell expertise

We are supplied by many leading manufacturers and we have a complete selection of measuring instruments. Our wide product offering allows us to easily provide the perfect load cell for your needs. To meet your unique requirements, we can adapt and customize our instruments to suit the application.

Load cell industries

Strain gauge load cells are used in many applications as an accurate way to measure mechanical force. The industries that use load cells range from dentistry to building construction. Just some of the markets we have experience working with include medical, military, forestry, packaging, power generation, transportation, and industrial automation.
