Lacing tape

Some examples of the different types of lacing tape available include:

• Nylon flat braided lacing tape impregnated with either liquid nylon or MW microcrystalline fungicidal wax. This tape is flexible, will stay flat, and won’t slip when knotted. It is designed to create a wide contact area to distribute stress.  
• Dacron flat braided lacing tape that is impregnated with either a non-slip fungicidal finish or an elastomer. This tape features all of the characteristics of nylon but with less elongation and better resistance to acids. It has a maximum elongation of 40 per cent and can be used at temperatures up to  
• Cold-shrinking Stretch -N-Seal tape is also available. It provides a secure covering that does not require heat to apply. It is ideal for applications where the object’s size or shape does not allow the use of shrinkable tubing.
