HG-TLS30-50-300: Torque Piano Hinge

The HG-TLS30-50-300 is a unique piano hinge with a free-stop feature. With a torque rating of 29 kgf.cm (25 lbs.in), its free-stop feature allows for a safe operation of housings and doors in industrial equipment. The piano hinge is 300 mm (11-13/16″) in length and may be used in multiples for wider doors. Made of 304 stainless steel with POM and plastic components, the hinge is greaseless, allowing water-drop-level exposure. Additionally, it is warranted for two years, as per Sugatsune’s policy, when used as intended and has successfully passed 30,000 private cycle tests for vertical and horizontal applications.

HG-KNT: Lift-off Torque Hinge

The HG-KNT lift-off torque hinge is an ideal solution for detaching doors easily and securely. Recommended for use with laboratory equipment, factories, offices, and various types of automation equipment. To assemble, insert the body into the shaft and then insert the holder into the hexagonal part of the shaft to generate torque. Depending on the model, torque ranges from 3.1-16.3 kgf.cm (2.5-13 lbs.in). To detach, use a tool to push out the black polyamide holder. See installation video here. These lift-off hinges may also be installed horizontally, and recommended placement when installing is so that the holders face away from each other to prevent accidental removal.

HG-OT: Quick-Release Hinge

Another solution to detach doors easily and securely, with spring, is the HG-OT series of quick-release hinges. Made of 304 stainless steel in satin finish with 303 stainless steel pins, these hinges may be used in corrosive environments. The HG-OTA45 is handed for left and right door-opening types with screw holes for fixation. The HG-OTB45 is also handed, and without screw holes. Larger models HG-OTA75 and HG-OTA100, also HG-OTB75 and HG-OTB100 are non-handed, with and without screw holes respectively. These quick-release hinges may be used for upward-opening doors, top-opening lids, and lateral-opening doors. To remove the door, retract the shaft and rotate it to the cabinet side, then bring the door forward from the front direction.

HG-BF3: Butt Hinge with Spring

The HG-BF3 series of butt hinges with spring holds the door in place when released. The HG-BF3-2L-SO (left-handed) and HG-BF3-2R-SO (right-handed) have spring tension in the opening direction. The HG-BF3-2L-SC (left-handed) and HG-BF3-2R-SC (right-handed) have spring tension in the closing direction. These butt hinges are made of 304 stainless steel for durability.
