High pressure check valves
Our high pressure check valves are available in body styles of many varieties. They feature rugged construction and are coned and threaded for handling pressures up to 150,000 psi (2070 bar). They are typically used for general industrial processes as well as special applications including chemical, petroleum, and power generating. These valves utilize a metal-to-metal seal and have no elastomers. The temperature range is -251 C to 648 C (-420 F to 1200 F).
The default cracking pressure is 15 psi, and cracking pressures up to 100 psi are available. The standard material for construction is 316 stainless steel and the springs are made of 300 series stainless steel.
BuTech check valves also include sour gas service models. They will stand up to H2S sour oil and gas under high pressure. They are also used for handling hydrogen sulfide in testing laboratories and research applications.
