We specialize in vacuum heat treatment to provide improved strength, hardness, corrosion resistance and other qualities needed for metal parts used in demanding manufacturing applications.  Our processes help our customers improve their productivity and the lifespan of their parts.

Heat treating service

We can heat treat parts up to 84 inches long. The heat treating services we provide include salt bath heat treatment, carburizing, precipitation hardening, solution annealing, normalizing, stress relieving and more. We utilize a variety of furnaces including a vacuum oil quench furnace, full carburizing furnaces, large vacuum hardening furnaces, and a high pressure vacuum hardening furnace with 6 bar capability. The load capacities of our furnaces range from 1500 to 5000 pounds. We use both vertical and horizontal loading furnaces.

Other services we provide include carbonitriding, cryogenic treatment and metallurgical laboratory service.  We also offer TD carbide coating through our A&M SurfTech division.
