Heat Treating Service

We provide superior heat treating service because we are equipped with several high tech furnaces with large chambers to handle a variety of part sizes and shapes. Our prices are very competitive and we offer quick turnaround times due to the large capacity of our equipment. We specialize in vacuum heat treatment to provide improved strength, hardness, corrosion resistance and other qualities needed for metal parts used in demanding manufacturing applications.  Our processes help our customers improve their productivity and the lifespan of their parts.

Heat treating service

We can heat treat parts up to 84 inches long. The heat treating services we provide include salt bath heat treatment, carburizing, precipitation hardening, solution annealing, normalizing, stress relieving and more. We utilize a variety of furnaces including a vacuum oil quench furnace, full carburizing furnaces, large vacuum hardening furnaces, and a high pressure vacuum hardening furnace with 6 bar capability. The load capacities of our furnaces range from 1500 to 5000 pounds. We use both vertical and horizontal loading furnaces.

Other services we provide include carbonitriding, cryogenic treatment and metallurgical laboratory service.  We also offer TD carbide coating through our A&M SurfTech division.

Heat treatment industries

We serve customers throughout the Greater Toronto Area who need their metal parts heat treated for a variety of industrial applications. Just some of the industries we serve include tool and die, aluminum extrusion, automotive and trucking.

Manufacturers of our equipment

We use only the best vacuum furnaces produced by the top manufacturers including:

Abar-Ipsen’s versatile furnaces provide uniform heat treating, even on parts with the most complex geometries.

Vac-Aero manufactures vacuum furnaces that all use the Honeywell HC 900 Hybrid controller. The controller monitors and regulates thermals cycles to ensure perfect heat treating every time.
