Grips

With over thirty years of industry experience, Mocap manufactures a comprehensive range of grips, caps, plugs, tubes, and other plastic and rubber products. Headquartered in Missouri, strategically decided to build facilities in Mexico, China and the United Kingdom to offer our customers cost-effective products and short lead times. Our facilities are registered to ISO 9001, and our products are RoHS-compliant. We invest heavily in our employees, and take great pride in our experienced and friendly team. We are happy to send you samples before you order, and our secondary manufacturing services include printing, punching, slicing, one-colour silk-screening, and assembly.

Grips Product Line

We design and create round grips, flat grips and finger nub grips using PVC and the vinyl dip molding process. Grips make it more comfortable to hold on to handles and levers. Our grips are available in three degrees of hardness (soft, semi-rigid, hard) and a wide variety of colours, diameters and lengths (up to 21′ long!). We can print your company’s name or logo onto many grips. Grips are also available with a dual wall for increased durability.

Grips Industrial Applications

Our clients work in numerous industries, including the medical, automotive, appliance, electronics and HVAC markets.

Grips Manufacturing Process

We own and operate factories in three continents, and offer many plastic molding processes, including vinyl dip molding. In this process, identical plastic molds are pre-heated and then dipped into a pool of liquid plastisol PVC vinyl. Once the correct amount of material has filled the mold, we transfer the mold to an oven where the vinyl hardens to the correct product. Once cooled, the products are stripped from the molds, and the process repeats until an order is filled. We also manufacture products using plastic injection molding and rubber injection and compression molding.
