Our high-performance roller chain can be supplied with either conventional or innovative new side swivel gripper attachments. There are several options available for the base chain including nickel-plated, nickel-plated Lambda, stainless steel, and special surface-treated chain (NEP). Our high-quality base can chains offer benefits including corrosion resistance, wear resistance, high load capacity, and no need for lubrication. This provides lower maintenance costs, increased uptime, and increased productivity.

Gripper chain

Our gripper chain has reliable clamping mechanisms that guarantee precise positioning. These chains also incorporate high performance springs that provide outstanding grip performance and offer lifespans of more than 10 million cycles, even when run at high speeds.

This chain is also easy to quickly cut to length, as it has recessed riveted pins that allow for length adjustment. We are the only manufacturer to offer gripper chain with this feature. Our gripper chain also features quick, uniform start-up.

The sprockets used with gripper chains are mounted on a cam that opens and closes the spring mounted attachments. The timing of the cam must be extremely precise to handle the extreme speed of form, fill, and seal applications.

Also available is vacuum wrapper chain (CRYOVAC) that is designed to maximize the performance of vacuum chamber equipment. It is made from high-grade materials so it will last in extreme heat and resist corrosion from sanitary washdowns. Each component of the chain is heat treated and nickel plated prior to assembly, which ensures complete coverage.
