Thread Gauge Product Lines Gage Assembly, we offer various styles of gauges, including: taperlock, reversible and trilock gauges. Our gauges are suitable for virtually every type of thread including American inch, metric, acme, buttress, straight and tapered pipe threads up to 15 1/2 inch diameter.

Our company offers its standard thread gauges with a hard-chrome finish at no extra cost for longer wear and more dollar-for-dollar value. Hard chrome gauges can last up to eight times longer than plain steel gauges. All thread gauges are made of the finest oil hardened graphitic tool steel available. The graphitic lubricant qualities in this steel reduce friction. Its high carbon content produces superior long wearing qualities. All gauges are manufactured to ANSI standards and are traceable to the National Institute of Standards. Gage Assembly Company offers standard gauges in stock and fast delivery on special-order thread gauges.

Thread Gauge Manufacturing Process

We take pride in our hard-chrome finish. It is a true hard-chrome deposit, not a flash. We guarantee that the finish will not chip, flake or peel and is within the upper half of gauge makers’ tolerance for extra wear. We use a special fixturing process for bleeding any buildup on flanks of thread gages. We strive for technological innovation; our one-of-a-kind internal CNC thread-grinding machine ensures our gages have extremely accurate thread dimensions. We have a 23,000 square foot building devoted solely to manufacturing.
Our air conditioned facilities allow us to achieve consistent tolerances with our products.
