Flexible bus cable

One example of the bus cables available is our Etherline Torsion 2-pair industrial Ethernet cable. This CAT 5 BUS cable is designed for high-torsion stress applications. It is also suitable for stationary, flexible, or continuous flex usage, and it is recommended for drip loop applications such as in wind turbines. This cable is tested with over 1 million bending cycles and a right/left movement of 180 degrees per meter.

The conductors on this cable are made from stranded tinned copper. It has foamed polyethylene insulation and tinned copper braid shielding which provides excellent EMI protection. The jacket is made from green halogen-free polyurethane and is highly abrasion resistant and flame retardant.
