Fabricating Glass
We have been fabricating glass since 1968. Pegasus Glass can offer custom design and fabrication services whether you require a single prototype or high volume production. The types of glass we typically work with include a variety of borosilicate, quartz, and more. We have extensive experience fabricating products such as tubing, rod, bottles, process piping, and lampworking supplies. We have the capability to perform services including thermal cutting, fire polishing, annealing, grinding, and drilling. Fabricating glass
We can thermal cut glass tubes ranging from 7mm to 600mm inside diameter, or we can saw cut tubes from 1mm to 100mm outside diameter. Our tubing is available with a variety of end finishes including ground, chamfered, and glass to metal seals.
We can provide a variety of coatings such as permanent colouring, aluminizing, painting, and media blasting, either on the inside or outside of glass tubing and the outer surface of glass rods. Our coloured glass is created through a high temperature chemical bonding process and will not degrade due to abrasion, heat, or UV energy. For applications that require electrical resistance, we can provide aluminum spatter coating on tubes ranging from 50mm to 100mm. We can paint in any Pantone colour to create either translucent or opaque coatings on glass tubes ranging from 40mm to 600mm. We can perform media blasting to create finishes ranging from coarse to fine on tubes or rods ranging from 15mm to 600mm.
