Explosion Proof Valves
ODE Valve Canada is proud to design, manufacture, and market a broad range of solenoid valves, pumps, and gear motors to the industrial market. We are always looking to expand our portfolio with new solutions at ODE, and one of our newest innovations is a line of explosion proof valves, designed specifically for hazardous work locations that have fire or explosion risks. All of these valves meet the strict safety standards of CSA Group.
The potential for explosions is a common hazard in many work locations. The oil and gas sector is full of such environments, but chemical, wastewater, and mining companies also face this risk, as do some food-processing businesses. Our new lineup of explosion proof valves is ideal for workplaces with the presence of flammable vapours or gases, flammable liquids, combustible dust, or easily ignitable flares. These valves can withstand fire and explosion – and also minimize the chances of these occurrences.
These valves comply with the strict standards of Class I, Division 1 and 2, Groups A, B, C, and D, in addition to Class II, Division 1 and 2, Groups E, F, and G and Class III, including FM approval. The diversity of this ODE lineup makes these explosion proof valves suitable for a wide variety of applications in various sectors. For example, we recommend these products for oil refineries, oil and natural-gas wells and natural-gas or LP gas applications in the oil and gas industry. Other relevant applications include petrochemicals, chemicals, paint rooms, wastewater treatment, liquid-transfer terminals, grain storage, corn and flour mills, sugar refineries, and mining.
Our line of explosion- and fireproof valves includes different models of general-purpose, technopolymer, pinch, food-grade, high-pressure, pneumatic, and self-actuated valves, plus units for industrial oxygen and fuel gas. All of these valves are ATEX-compatible.
At ODE, our mission is to live up to high standards of quality in products that meet diverse customer needs. For hazardous work environments, these new valves meet another major need.
