In addition, they can be designed to compensate for piping misalignment.
• High temperature expansion joints are made using the best composites materials and are engineered to minimize the risk of catastrophic failures. These joints can solve issues associated with heat fatigue, condensation, media accumulation, and more. They include models that can be used at temperatures over 1093 degrees C (2000 degrees F).
• Metallic expansion joints are designed to offer outstanding performance for unique environmental and installation conditions. They are often used in applications with extreme temperature ranges. They can be used in temperatures ranging from -251 to 982 degrees C (-420 to 1800 degrees F), and can accommodate pressures up to 1,000 psi.
