Environmental Test Chambers

Hoskin Scientific Ltd. carries environmental test chambers by Cincinnati Sub-Zero, or CSZ, a veteran producer. CSZ test chambers help manufacturers with safety and reliability testing, so they can subject their new products to extremes in temperature, humidity, altitude, vibration, and other real-world climate and wear situations. North American businesses have relied on CSZ environmental test chambers to support safe and dependable product creation for more than eight decades.

CSZ produces a full range of standard and customized environmental test chambers, which are always built to last and comply with the most challenging requirements for product testing. These chambers are expected to perform reliably every time, so the CSZ crew focuses on quality product design and the most dependable customer support available to deliver both value and performance.

The chambers range from small benchtop units to full rooms that are big enough to accommodate semi-trucks and trailers. All have quality construction and innovative technology, with temperatures ranging from -80 to 350 degrees Celsius and humidity from ten to 98 per cent RH. Hoskin offers the following types of test chambers:

  • Battery test chambers – with additional safety features to reduce the risks of battery-cell, module, and pack testing.
  • Benchtop variation tables – ideal for reliability testing of compact items and electronics.
  • HALT and HASS chambers – accelerated stress testing of temperature and vibration capabilities.
  • Industrial heating and drying lab ovens – batch processing.
  • MicroClimate benchtop test chambers – a full range of temperature and humidity conditions.
  • Remote conditioners – unique tests that will not fit into standard chambers.
  • StableClimate II stability chambers – for a stable, conditioned environment.
  • Temperature test chambers – steady-state stability testing, basic temperature cycling, or accelerated stress testing.
  • Temperature, humidity, and altitude chambers – blending temperature and altitude/vacuum with optional humidity.
  • Thermal shock chambers – tailored environmental stress screening of component and board electronic assemblies.
  • Tundra refrigeration systems – efficient testing of products at low temperatures with one compressor.
  • Walk-in and drive-in chambers – testing or storing items requiring large capacities.
