Tsubaki of Canada Ltd. can supply engineered class drive chain that is built to exceed listed ultimate strength ratings, providing higher actual yield and higher fatigue strength. That means there is extra strength in reserve to handle high shock loads. One way we accomplish that is with precision manufacturing. Every component is produced using the latest manufacturing and heat treating techniques. By manufacturing parts to precise tolerances, we ensure smoother interaction between the chain and sprockets. This provides less friction and longer service life. In addition to quality manufacturing, our chain is made using the best materials.
Engineered class drive chain
On our engineered class drive chain, any parts that require extra harness are made with high strength alloy steel. That includes the pins, sidebars, bushings, and rollers. For instance, we offer precision machined alloy steel bushings that can be through-hardened or case hardened to suit the application. The pins on all Tsubaki drive chains are made from alloy steel, and are available with ground bearing surfaces and full round induction hardening for chains used in heavy duty power shovel applications. Our chains with ultimate strength ratings over 112,000 pounds are made entirely from alloy steel.
The durability and long life of our drive chains provides reduced maintenance costs and downtime. They feature fatigue resistance, press fit construction, and optimum strength. We also offer an engineered class chain tool that makes it easy to dismantle these chains.
