Our chains are available with a number of optional upgrades to suit the specific application. Some of them include plated pins and bushings, and patented joint seals. Our experienced engineers can offer assistance in choosing the best options for the particular application.
Chain with our patented sealed joints has extended bushings that minimize clearance between the bushings and outside bars, creating a solid barrier to keep out abrasive material. They also have a high temperature polymer seal around the extended bushing for additional particulate resistance. In addition, a stainless steel internal ring seal holds onto the pin and rotates within a groove in the bushing. This creates a labyrinth that helps keep debris out of the pin/bushing area.
