At Magnetool Inc., we design and manufacture many magnetic and electromagnetic devices for material handling, holding, lifting, demagnetizing and filtering. We also repair magnetic tools, and specialize in designing custom magnetic products. Dedicated to crafting quality products at competitive prices, we value customer satisfaction most of all. We are also committed to supporting the local economy, and use American-made materials and work with American suppliers whenever possible.
Electromagnets Product Line
We manufacture a wide selection of electromagnets, including electrically operated permanent magnets, bipolar magnets in a variety of sizes, and flat-faced magnets. Our electrically operated permanent magnets are energized and de-energized by a mounted electrical control, and are used in escapement devices, safety locks and fail safe holding applications.

Our small bipolar electromagnets are designed so that their parallel poles can both contact irregularly shaped parts. We can also add contoured auxiliary pole shoes to provide better contact.

Our flat-faced magnets are best used on flat, smooth material when the entire magnet face has contact with the material. These magnets can be used in manually operated or automated applications. They use a D.C. current.

Electromagnets Manufacturing Process
Our dedicated engineering and production teams working out of our 40,000 square foot facility have the knowledge and equipment to produce our line of top-quality electromagnets, as well as specially ordered magnetic and electromagnetic tools. All our products are manufactured in our Troy, MI plant.
